Hello and welcome to the THUNDERBLOCKS recruitment post. I'm Justin and at some point, some years ago I made this server. People joined the server and we have done things and now it is a pretty awesome server.

We have games, shops and lots of cool people!

We're mostly vanilla asides from mcmmo and some mod tools! We actually have 4 and sometimes even 5 servers that you can hop between with the power of portals!!!

One server is where we usually hang and build, it never resets. Sometimes we expand the world border and sometimes we wipe out all the chunks that have been loaded for less than 5 minutes so that we can get new structures and what nots.

Another server is our resource server. It has a community town at spawn that's sort of Halloween themed and that never resets. However, asides from that the whole server resets as it needs too. This way there's a never ending supply of end cities, deep darks, trials chambers and what have you for all of our adventure loving members.

Inventory is synced between these servers so if you need to demolish half the world for sand you can go home and build a whole glass city.

One server is creative. Yeehaw.

And one binds then all together like the one ring to rule them all.

We have loads of grief prevention, a no tolerance policy on any type of hate, and builds that you can expect to be there forever. Stay in the discord and your land claims shall forever remain yours.

We have no sort of attendance policy, life happens, we will be here.

Gilded SMP – A Content Creator Server – LGBTQ+

Looking for a few more members to join our server! We are a server focused on content creating mainly. We are looking for more members interested in streaming and making videos mostly surrounding Minecraft content, but we do play a few other games too!

Currently, we are starting our SMP on August the 12th. We have about seven active people currently, who are all interested or already doing content. Most of us are closer to 30 and above in age, and while age is not an issue, maturity and respect is required. More elderly people would be great though (Also, just a joke…we're not that old yet)! It's never too late start content!

Some rules/notes:

  • Must be over 18
  • Must try to be family friendly/PG, especially when collabing with others. You can do whatever with your content, but please respect other people's content choices.
  • Server is highly LGBTQ+ friendly. A good part of our members are apart of the community.
  • Doesn't matter your subscriber count or if you haven't even started yet! Many of our members are starting out fresh as well.
  • If you have family or trusted friends that might not do content, but would still enjoy having them on the server, this is fine! Please have the content creator apply first, and then speak with me about anyone you'd like to invite.
  • Be willing to chip in and be apart of the community rather then just be playing on a server by yourself! We are looking to make a team.
  • No griefing allowed (unless planned). Just generally respect your fellow members.

Server Setup

  • No mods are required to play, but the server will be outfitted with mods for custom items, armor stands, voice mod, etc. Think Hermitcraft stuffs.
  • Server will have some pre-built lore buildings to help us dip our toes into some rp/lore stuff, to also help prep for a future dnd/rp inspired server.
  • We have a shopping district area planned, with a black market area in a nice ancient city with a neat lava cave and lush cave connected. We also have a small idea of where to put a gaming district.
  • The group is encouraged to bring their own ideas, events, games to the table. We want to make this a lasting group going forward and more of a team then just a solo-run server.

We also have some other MC related content in mind, including a possible RP/DND-ish based SMP for the future once the group is more established, other modded servers, creative servers, etc.

Authentic Vanilla, launched July 18th, 2024, is Java Edition Minecraft in its purest form. It is a "Vanilla Anarchy" server, meaning pretty much anything aside from hacking or exploits are allowed. The world, which will never be reset, is whatever you want it to be. Anything you can do in Mojang's intended vanilla is fair game, you need not be bogged down by landclaims or building requirements or suffocating world borders. But be ware, the freedom to create also comes with the freedom to destroy, so keep what you make safe.

The server is still very young so now is your chance to get in early and make your mark on the server!

Additional Info:

  • To keep the server as authentically vanilla as possible, the server will be running Fabric rather than the more widely used, but much more invasive PaperMC. This means that farms that are known to not be multiplayer compatible due to PaperMC's intrusive optimizations should work here, without it being at the expense of server performance.
  • The server will always be running the latest version as soon as possible, it is currently on 1.21
  • There are only 4 simple rules as follows:
  1. No hacked clients or other mods that give an unfair advantage
  2. No use of glitches or exploits to gain an unfair advantage
  3. Do not harm the server's integrity through DDOS attacks or lag machines
  4. What happens in the block game stays in the block game, do not threaten people's real life well being
