Dark Gothic and High Fantasy intertwined, Mortals and Mythos is a 16+ hardcore roleplaying server focused in mixing realism and science with the supernatural and pseudoscience. The world is laden with threats, rhymes and puzzles, and everything is intended for a full immersive experience. Lore is only learned through the libraries, old texts or events.
Athon is the continent wherein everything exists. In the current setting, players would have embarked on a long and treacherous eight-year journey that would eventually find themselves landed on new grounds.
Mortals and Mythos was founded in early 2023, and there is still many large projects until official release, however, during our Alpha phase, we have a plenty of story-arcs planned that will slide seamlessly into the final map.

We pride ourselves on our community and strive to keep players entertained with active monthly events. To enhance the user experience on our server, we work towards a lag-free environment.
There are no game-breaking plugins on the server that would otherwise alter the vanilla aspect of the game (No TPs, no virtual economy). The server is running on Fabric+Lithium to ensure Vanilla Minecraft behavior. We believe in taking full advantage of the Minecraft experience by playing the game how it’s meant to be played.

* We are a social proximity chat server.
* A mature acting community is what we anticipate.
* We strive to conduct ourselves in an ethical and caring manner at all times, especially towards our members.
* The server is running in Hard mode.

PVP is switchable, meaning you can turn it off and on! Due to the fact that we do not operate a PVP-based server, we do not actually have any PVP-based plugins. PvP aficionados do exist among our player base, though!

Players from all over the world are welcome to join, and there is no set age limit. The majority of players are teenagers, but that is not the case all throughout server.

The server has been running since April of this year! The map therefore isn’t that old. The entire map is viewable on our dynamic map. We can expand the overworld if necessary; it is currently at 30k.
