The GGPNetwork MC Server is a server which we aim to try and please as many people as we possibly can.
We have been around for a while and recently decided we should open up a minecraft server, after discussing what we wanted out of it we came to the conclusion that we should make a factions server (Ohh no not another one you might be thinking) But were going to make the server as special as we can.
How are we going to that
We are going to have a dynamically changing economy instead of people making massive farms and making loads of money were making it so if people sell alot of one item it value will go down and the other products of the same category will go up, meaning there wont just be a massive underground sugarcane farm making millions a day.
We are also going to be scheduling random events whether this is a boss fight or a PVP tournament there will be an event that you will be able to do.
Rank systems.
At this moment in time we currently have a humanity system like the one implemented in DayZ if you kill people your humanity decreases and you will become a bandit but if you help people your humanity will increase and you will become a hero. This was implemented to help new people know who they should trust at a quick glance.
Two main teams.
When you join the server the first major choice you are faced with is which team will you choose The Shade or The Templars
Each team has its own rank tree and the requirements for each Rankup are chosen by each teams leaders HighWarlord(The Shade) and HighCommander(The Templars)
The rules regarding the teams are simple you can only have faction members of the same team.
You also may not kill each other or raid each other unless the HighWarlord or HighCommander says you may.
If you find a problem let an admin know and next patch we will get it fixed for you the same goes for if you have an idea, if you wish for something to but changed or added tell a member of staff and if we like it we will add it in the next patch.
Updates/patches
Instead of updating a little bit everyday we edit files offline then once everything is ready we will go and upload everything when this happens there is normally a downtime of around an hour, We will let you know in advance when an update/patch is being added.
