About Experium SMP:

The Experium SMP is a whitelisted 1.20 vanilla server (1.21 soon). We recently started a brand new season with a fresh world and we are looking for new players to join us! This server is all about having a fun and dedicated community of players where everyone feels included and actively contributes. So if you're looking to enjoy playing Minecraft on a long-term dedicated SMP, look no further than Experium.

We expect to update to 1.21 very soon, but we are currently just waiting on the vanilla tweaks datapacks to be updated first (expected within a few days). We already have the new blocks enabled and we have been keeping our builds within a 1500×1500 block area so that we can reset the chunks outside of that once we update to include the new trial chambers (you can still travel outside of this area). There's still room a lot of room for new players to enjoy the early game.

This SMP is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft server, as I am a long time fan and am constantly motivated by their community and content. While we aren't trying to replicate Hermitcraft completely, we do play with several iconic features of their server, including several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects.

This makes for a great time and encourages members to contribute. But this also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively. About the server: We are a small server of friends trying to expand our player base and get some more friendly faces in the mix. Hey guys! So once a year my friend and I decide to open a whitelist Minecraft server that we run until everyone gets bored (usually lasts many months, but we’d love to keep it alive forever if everyone keeps playing!)

Now, we usually reserve the server to closer friends and people we already know well. However, this year we’re a little low on players, and so we’d like to invite some new faces to the server!

Some info on the server:
– The server runs on the newest version.
– The server runs on 12GB of Ram, enough to make some fun machines and farms (although we do try to keep things compact).
– The server is located in the EU.
– We don’t run any mods (this could change).
– We run a few plugins and data packs (such as extra mob heads, multiplayer sleep, more shulker pieces, etc.)
– We have no griefing rules and make sure everyone in the server feels safe and welcome, we stay clear of any toxicity.
– Incase of bad apples, we always back up the server twice a day for security.
