WHAT IS TEMPEST SMP?

Tempest SMP is a brand new modded 1.21 SMP that aims to create a vast, interconnected world with various environments and large projects. Featuring an impressive world, Tempest SMP will be connected via road networks, bridges, tunnels, and other types of infrastructure.

ABOUT US

The admin team on Tempest SMP believes in creating a safe and fun environment for everyone; all of our players are required to follow our four simple common sense rules and be respectful in every interaction.

UNIQUE FEATURES:

Tempest SMP has an official modpack on Modrinth, featuring decoration mods such as the Macaw collection and Connected Chains, along with QOL mods such as Traveler’s Backpack and Just Hammers. Our world is generated using the Tectonic mod and has impressive generation that is ripe for building in.

Finally, to foster community participation, the world has an initial world border that can be expanded through the completion of “Border Missions.” These missions fall into three categories: Resource missions, which involves the collection of a large amount of resources, and Create Missions, which involves the construction of certain projects (such as a Nether Hub), and SUPER missions, which involves the completion of a specific and difficult mission.

Each mission will see the world border expanded by between 100 and 2000 blocks, depending on its difficulty. Once all missions are completed, the border will be dropped completely.

Our server started on 06/30/2024, so it's still early and ripe for exploration!
