Can you survive natural disasters in a post-apocalyptic world?

Welcome to Catastrolith – a Minecraft: Java Edition (1.20.1) PvE server!
In this overgrown world, you have only one goal – survive!

HOW TO PLAY

After entering the server for the first time, you will find yourself in the lobby.
Later, you can exchange useful items such as armor or building materials for experience points.

To start the game, enter one of the “Go to World” pressure plates.
You are ready to go – explore the world and earn some experience points. Of course, you can earn these by the usual methods such as slaying monsters etc. You will also receive a new xp-level around every 10 seconds.

Now comes the exciting part – treacherous disasters will befall you from time to time. To stay alive, you can mine everything you find, take it with you and keep it – there are no griefing restrictions in the main world. Maybe you will even manage to build your own base with the resources?!

As soon as you die, you end up in the lobby and your entire inventory is deleted – except for your experience points! Use these to equip yourself better from the start and stay on track for longer. To get an item, simply click on the button in front of it – the levels of experience points you need are shown on the Redstone blocks.

World Reset: Automatically every Wednesday at 03:00 AM CET / CEST.
The player’s inventory remains untouched.

Platform: Minecraft: Java Edition 1.20.1.
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is not supported.

Player Chat Reporting (+ notification banner) is disabled.

Griefing: Allowed (Exception: Lobby, but is protected).
PS: Due to the disasters, some things may be completely destroyed anyway…

October 23rd, 2077 changed the global landscape forever, the world isn’t what you once knew, and now, as a survivor of a destructive nuclear apocalypse, you must rebuild society with others, restore society to what it used to be, possibly even better. The road to rebuilding won’t be easy, others will be in your way, whether it be the horrors left behind by our own folly, or our fellow man trying to kill us, the road ahead won’t be easy. It’s said war never changes, but men do, through the roads they walk, what road will you walk?

WastelandMC is a 1.15.2 Java edition Post Apocalyptic Towny server launching on July 4th, 2020, using a 1:500 North American West Coast map with updating territory borders that can be seen on the dynamic map. The server features a player made economy, with features such as chestshops. Larp as your favorite Fallout Faction, or go your own way, in the Wasteland, the choice is yours.

We have completed our spawn area, and the rest of the world is ready to explore and build in. People are welcome to visit, tour, chat, and figure out if you like this minecraft world. If you do, play is free, and possibilities are endless!

We have /tpa, protection areas, shops, an online map, and a basic economy. (The economy is still being set up). The overall feel is vanilla and the rules are honor-based. No griefing, and a very basic set of rules. Mostly, we just want folks to come in, feel comfortable, and do what they like.
