What you need:

  • The technic launcher which you can download here.
  • The modpack which you can find in the technic launcher, called “Life in the Woods PLUS” or simply download it here.
  • At least 4GB of RAM. Set this up by going to your launcher options and set the RAM to 4GB+, make sure you have a x64 version of Java installed. 6GB or more is still recommended.

    What you get:

  • An economy system
  • Factions (w/ PvP, SafeZone and WarZone)
  • Biomes o’ Plenty Themed (This server is mainly Life in the Woods themed, with all the custom biomes and more).
  • More Foods and Recipes
  • Backpacks
  • Latch plugin to lock your doors and chests (eg. /lock private,password)
  • Hidden Armor to see player’s skins (not mandatory)
  • Custom player health + Leveling up your health.
  • Chopping a tree from the bottom will result in the entire tree breaking, so you can instantly collect all the wood.
  • If you die, you’ll receive a death note so you can find the spot where you died.
  • VShops, also known as NPCs, that let you sell and buy diamonds, iron and gold for money. It is also possible to sell stuff to other players, as well as buying stuff from others.
  • Jobs: You can become a warrior, a miner, farmer, fisherman,lumberjack or you can just stay unemployed and be a hillbilly.

Open enderchest, shulkers and use a crafting table by holding them then clicking. 27 types of fish that can be sold for money based on rarity and size. Trophy fish leaderboard and fishing tournaments. Fish bag with upgradable storage capacity. Purchase horses with boosted speed jump or health. Custom mobs, mob bosses and quest items. Ability to parry incoming attacks with a 3 second cooldown. We have an excellent moderation team that ruthlessly hunts down hackers to ban them. If you want something added to

    This server will slowly update through all of the final updates from 1.8.9 all the way up to 1.21. Once we update we will have one final update (undecided) which will be 1.21 again but with a couple of small fabric mods which will be finalized at a later date.

    We started the server in version 1.8.9 for a month, and now we’re updating every two weeks.

    Also, this is meant to be a friendly server. So make sure to be nice to other players and have fun.

    Rules:
    No griefing
    No swearing, be polite, we want to encourage a friendly environment
    Don’t duplicate items or TNT
    Don’t modify your client to give yourself an unfair advantage (things like AppleSkin are ok, but don’t add modifications that let you see through things, or allow you to alter your movement – basically don’t hack or use things like X-Ray)
    Don’t be a nuisance (yes this is vague, but don’t go out of your way to inconvenience the staff or other players) The moderation team will make final judgements on how issues should be dealt with and will be able to do whatever they deem required.

    A community project hosted on the old beta 1.7.3 version of Minecraft.

    Why b1.7.3?

    Beta 1.7.3 is the perfect version for players who are not interested in the “end game” of Minecraft: beating the dragon, obtaining elytra’s, etc. It is a whitelisted 18+ server with a strong focus on community. Without the threat of endgame mechanics creeping up new players feel welcome right away because there is no such thing as being "too late to the party" in this version. Beta 1.7.3 solves this issue by being the version of Minecraft that precedes the introduction of the end game and other mechanics like hunger. It is also the most supported legacy version as it has a relatively large community. In this version, players can join at any point and never be left out of the fun. Moreover, my personal investment in this project is fueled by the nostalgia that comes from the older version of the game, which is something that I know others feel too and will contribute to an even stronger community.

    Frank 1.0 was originally a 100% vanilla server with the exception of a few quality of life improvements. Frank's Beta will be no different. The original theme of “no bloat” will continue.
