Hi, I'm Pika, and I'm an admin for BoomySMP. We are a small, very LGBTQ+ friendly, private and close knit discord server, and our latest seasonal Minecraft SMP has launched around a month ago.

We offer seasonal Vanilla Minecraft SMPs that usually last a few months each and is heavily styled after Hermitcraft, in between these "main" seasons we also host a smaller modded server called half seasons. – The Adventurers' Guild: when you first spawn into the server, you will see a cozy wooden building. That is the main hall of the Adventurers' Guild. Rather than being a faction, this guild is an organisation where all players can rent a room at the inn or post quests.
– Kvarleva: With scattered settlements and a capital on the mushroom islands, this faction plans to build giant structures while worshipping the Great Heart. What are their goals, and what is this Great Heart?
– Jermany: Wilkommen in Deutschland- uh, I mean, welcome to Jermany. Yes, Jermany, not Germany. This faction is based around Jerma while centring their architecture around German architecture.
– Szrympรณwo Voivodeship: The great walled city of Shrimptown Szrympรณvo wishes to build the best city in the server based on Polish Gothic architecture. Oh, and there's shrimp.
– Bluรซ: In the harsh icy fields stands an empire. Although small, Bluรซ has a hidden history which might place it in grave danger. This secret bastion of arcane arts of water and ice bending might soon face some problems.

Modifications

In Veiled Haven, we've kept the addition of modifications to a minimum, just enough to enhance the vanilla experience without compromising the core gameplay of Minecraft. This ensures a balanced and consistent experience for all members of our Haven.

The AussieSMP is an Australian hosted Survival server with a small community of players from around the world. The server is a whitelisted application-based server, if you would like to join you will need to use the link above. This is put in place so that players feel safe that their builds will remain intact and that we donโ€™t have anyone who wonโ€™t fit in to the culture on the server. That being said we are always looking for new members and you are welcome to apply at any time!

The gameplay is mostly vanilla with some extra quality of life features like teleports, features that promote player trading and methods to protect from griefing.

If you are wanting to have a โ€˜pure vanillaโ€™ experience, this server probably wonโ€™t be for you as it has some teleport commands and an economy backed by diamonds, but if youโ€™re interested in that, then this server might be a good choice for you (and your friends!).

The server is hosted in Sydney, Australia, meaning if you are in Australia or New Zealand youโ€™ll have a low latency to the server. Features:

  • The server is running the latest version so you can enjoy all the new features of the most recent update of Minecraft.

  • Many other survival servers modify various game mechanics, one of the main aims of this server is to not change too much of the Vanilla mechanics such as how entities act, villagers, terrain generation etc.

  • A decently sized shopping area that is filled with player created shops that promotes a feeling of community and helps players easily trade between each other. Players use diamonds as currency within these shops to trade for other items/blocks.

  • Getting out of spawn and into new lands is easy with the use of a random teleport command which can be accessed by right-clicking the NPC at spawn or by typing /rtp. There are also various other teleports that are made available on the server so that you can quickly get back to your base or check up on what your mates are doing.

  • The server has a land-claiming system that uses a golden shovel. Over time youโ€™ll gain claim blocks that can be used in whichever server you play in, and when youโ€™re ready you can claim your chests and builds to keep them safe from other players. This is purely an optional safeguard, many players donโ€™t claim their land as the community doesnโ€™t appreciate griefing so players who participate in that are very quickly filtered out of the server.

  • The survival server consists of multiple worlds which have plenty of new 1.20 chunks in them. If you like long-term survival worlds, the AussieSMP is for you! There are no plans to do a full reset of the main worlds ever.

  • The server is part of a growing network, so not only are there multiple survival worlds, there is a creative server where players can build without limits or just test their redstone contraptions.

  • Various external community resources such as, Automated Spectator Livestreams on the weekends, a Discord where players can find out future plans for the server or chat with other players, A wiki that has information and guides on how to use features specific to AussieSMP.

The AbuSMP server started off as just a Realms server with 4 friends, and later expanded to a modded Minecraft experience that we wanted to share with others. We are a very small community based in North America – and by small, I mean, very small. We are only looking to have at most 20 members.

AbuSMP continues to maintain its culture of a "SMP with the boys" type of server, and wants to instill this culture of play within new members. This is a place for you to join and relax, have fun and mess around. There are a few things you'll need to know to get started.

We are running a Fabric 1.19.2 server. We have carefully cultivated our modpack to contain many QoL changes, new and exciting features, and overall improvements to the vanilla experience. We are generally a Vanilla+ server (with a few exceptions), and any mods we add in the future will typically follow this theme.

AbuSMP is a whitelisted Vanilla+ server. We maintain a whitelist as we only want to include players on our server who will not be disruptive to the community. To join the server, all you need to do is join our discord and write a short message telling us a little about yourself, just so our staff can see you'd be a valuable member of the community!

We are just starting our new season, which makes this the perfect time to join us since everybody is just starting out again!

Features:

  • We are a Vanilla+ server with a growing modpack. We generally aim to add mods that improve upon the quality of life, or add new Vanilla-esque features/content to the game. Some examples of this are waypoints mods, waystones, several new Vanilla-esque ores and armor sets, etc. However, we will always ensure that our modpack does not heavily alter the Vanilla experience. The gameplay is still Vanilla Minecraft!
  • We have a claim and container locking system to protect against griefing. This is built in to our world map mod, which you can open by pressing M. To claim chunks, all you need to do is select the chunk in your map and press claim. This is highly customizable and supports adding your party to your claim, or allies.
  • We have a strict no-tolerance policy for any cheating, exploits or glitches. We intend to play the game normally and we want to progress normally.
  • We have a server trading market, with players being able to put up posts and trade with others. There is no economy mod, our market and economy is entirely player-based! Since we have started a new season of the server, this means there are many opportunities for our economy to change.
  • Since we have started a new season, this means progress has been reset. Do not worry, as we don't intend to reset the world regularly. This reset only occured as the server was largely inactive for some time, and we have mostly new players now. If you're interested in joining up and helping us to establish our communal areas and farms, this is a perfect opportunity for you.

We are a longstanding SMP with currently over a dozen active players and we are looking for more! A few players have been there since the early days, others since last year, and a few joined only recently.

  • Overview

    Our main guideline to leave the "meta" of pure Vanilla survival as unaltered as possible (for a public server).

    The only 3 plugins that interfere with this are:

    GriefPrevention, a sleep voting plugin, and player item shops for trading. That means as many features from other plugins you know from other servers are absent by design and won't be added. There are two ranks "new" and "player"they do not give any benefits. You can not buy "power" for real money here and we have no adminshops. Everything on the map was build and farmed in survival.

  • Community

    What you have read so far sounds like your cup of tea? Well then you may fit right in. Laid back rules, a close knit community, having some events from time to time, and there is always something you can help with. Staff and ohter players are usually available to help you. Need help digging? Just died far away? Raid an Ocean Monument? No problem! We also have a Hermitcraft-like shop area for players using a trade shop plugin.

  • Gameplay

    This is supposed to feel like a vanilla server. The default currency is diamonds. This is not enforced its just what everyone uses. No warps, you have to walk, fly by Elytra, or set up infrastructure such as piston bolts or blue ice highways. You can focus on long term projects, take your time, because we NEVER RESET the map. Megabases welcome. Leave for months, pick right up where you left.
    In +7 years time we built a lot of farms and infrastructure. This makes it a lot easier to get going early in the game, especially for endgame players. But fear not, there is always need for expanding upon whats already there.

    The spawn city is protected. Areas there are released for community builds. Outside the city you can build your own base(s). You will get more claimblocks during play.

  • Specs & Plugins

    Hosted in Germany with 128GB Ram, a Intel i9-9900k, and 1TB NVMe SSD; the server runs on Paper. Regarding updates we don't always run the latest version but we plan to update to every major release eventually. In case an update brings a big change in world generation (e.g. 1.18) we delete chunks that have been loaded less than 5 minutes. Meaning someone likely just passed by while exploring.

    For land claiming we use GriefPrevention, which lets you protect areas you selected with a golden shovel. You can allow certain or all players to build and or access chests/buttons, on your claim. It also protects your claims and the worlds surface from creepers. Then there is also a chest shop plugin. You can use iron nuggets to create villager-like trades. You can do this anywhere, but its recommended to do this in the shopping area or your claim. Harbor is a plugin which skips the night, if 20% or more players are in bed. Lastly there is one that lets you rotate Glazed Terracotta.

    Additionally we have some datapacks and tweaks: Ghasts don't break blocks. You can silent mobs by naming them "silent" (undo with "unsilent"). Your 1st kill of the Enderdragon gets you an Elytra. Craftable Enchanted Golden Apples. Hermitcraft posable Armorstands. Some recipes have been tweaked (bone blocks directly from bones, recolor glass,… )

The Experium SMP is a whitelisted vanilla server running on 1.21. We started a brand new season with a fresh world around two months ago and we are looking for new players to join us!
