Since its founding in May of 2019, Allium has built up a large, friendly Minecraft community that's now in its second season. The server has grown a lot since launch, and it still keeps that community first, mostly non-toxic, semi-mature vibe that makes it easy to settle in and find people to play with.
Allium is a survival-focused vanilla server with plenty of room for big farms, automation, and all the usual long-term world building stuff. Griefing, stealing, and raiding can be rolled back quickly with CoreProtect, and the greylist setup means anyone can join and connect, but you'll need to apply on before getting full permissions.
The staff team is made up of hand picked administrators who are there to help sort issues out when they come up. If you're looking for a Hermitcraft or SMP Live style server, Allium says that's not really the goal here. Instead, it's a bigger, more community-driven place with players from around the world who like exploring, building, and figuring out new ways to play together (:
If you're into a friendly SMP style survival server where community matters and people actually care about what they're building, Allium is worth a look. Join up, say hi, and see if it feels like your kind of place.
