Kosmosis is a Towny Survival server set around an experimental economy and PvE gamemode. Invisible, invincible, unknowable Spirit entities generate around players. These entities run events based on their unique levels of "Aura," at a rate set by their "aggravation," at an intensity set by their "power." Spirits can be Good or Evil, or Neutral, and the types of events they create reflect these Aura alignments.
The punchline is that every spirit eventually manifests as a powerful boss, which players may seek to eliminate for the sake of self defense, fun, or because killing these bosses is worth a lot of money. Every time a Spirit Boss is slain by a player, that invisible, unknowable entity disappears forever, and its Aura is subtracted from its slayer. Slaying Good Aura Spirits gives a player negative Aura, slaying Evil Aura spirits gives a player good Aura, and a player's Aura determines what kinds of Spirits will be spawning around them.
The financial incentive to eliminate Spirits drives fluxuations in Aura that bring about all sorts of Spirits, each with their own events and challenges. Every Spirit type also has a suite of unique flora and fauna that it brings into its dwelling, telegraphing its type to the observant player. Meanwhile, these unique pieces are ingredients for a Custom Alchemy System. Kosmosis is a server with its own Demonology that rewards players who make notes and venture towards studying every type of paranormal visitor.
This system of Demonology and Aura facilitates a new type of conflict, Spiritual Warfare. Players may sabotage other players by eliminating beneficial or peaceful Spirits around their opponents' homes. Even going as far as to intentionally darken their own Aura to the point that they summon extremely powerful, evil, aggravated Spirits to Haunt their foes. Mayors must be mindful of what kinds of activities their residents are up to, or else their town may be cursed by Dark Forces. Those with extremely beneficial Spirits in their territory may want to construct temples to better facilitate harvesting rewards and protecting their otherworldly inhabitants.
Every player must choose a "Gift" upon their joining of the server. Some of these gifts give unique insight or control over the spiritual. Players must work together with the range of special gifts available to best navigate, fight, and benefit from Spirits.
Kosmosis uses a Diamond economy and chestshop, and uses Terralith by Stardust Labs for custom terrain. I believe you will find Kosmosis to be an interesting and unique survival experience.
