Welcome to Bonk ! A community not quite like any others !
Inspired by the quite famous HermitCraft, the Bonk community is a group of mature, friendly, full of comedy (and quite stupid) people !

We are attempting to achieve a group of friendly people all playing in harmony, without any difficult rules and strict management, but while still keeping the base HermitCraft vanilla feel and mutual respect.
The server isn’t age restricted, however, the application process is done with direct communication and is very strict, all this to provide the best possible experience on the server !

– What sets us apart ?
The Bonk community is full of laughs, comedy, we don’t take ourselves seriously, we just have fun together.

The Bonk community is mature. Majority of it is adult, and the youngest ones were only accepted after showing proof of maturity themselves !
The Bonk community doesn’t clogs you with rules ! We are a small server, and our very selective applications will make this fact a reality forever, therefore, we can avoid massive and restrictive rules, we are here to have fun, not to read papers (can we even read ?)
The Bonk community is… Well.. Special, though, you will notice that quite early on 😀

– What kind of server experience is this ?
Bonk is a server attempting to be as vanilla as possible ! We have slight modifications such as water colors and an anti grief and anti cheat systems, otherwise, everything is vanilla ! The pure core Minecraft Experience !

We are attempting to be as close to HermitCraft as possible, from the SD rule of 1DB per 100blocks of lands to the low amount of rules, the strict applications and the mature community… All that maybe with just a bit of extra crazy and comedy along the line !

– What does it runs on ?
Bonk runs on a dedicated server we built ourselves. It is able to powerfully without issues handle many players at once, and only is shared with one other server. It’s fully dedicated !

This means that the experience will be as lag-less as possible, and the handlers can, if there is a need, do direct interactions with the machine ! (It’s in our bedroom :D)

– What about the handling ? Additions and all ?
Well, technically, as you will see when joining the server, there is no set apart staff team ! While only 2 have access to the server’s machine, we all together are no more than a simple community.

This means that edits and additions, changes and decisions are all taken together though communication ! There is no true hierarchy !

– How’s the Discord Server ?
Well… A meme would be an easy way to describe, I guess ? Roles all are here as joke, people spend time on it discussing and having fun together when or not on the server, we spend time together and all.

Discord presence is mandatory and leaving the server will be an automatic unwhitelist from the server though.

– What else ?
Bonk is slightly crazy, full of comedy, and incredibly fun ! It’s also a very young server and community, and hopefully a near-perfect gameplay experience !

We have fun together, play by love of the game together, and enjoy the closest to HermitCraft possible game experience together !
