The Superflat Experiment is a 1.20.4 Survival Superflat server started in March 2022 with a single question: What would happen on a survival Superflat server with no rules or limitations?

Since then, over 4000 players have joined and left their mark. This is a difficult server, so don't expect an easy start. Our spawn region currently contains trees and cobblestone provided by the community, but survival is still difficult.

The server has no gameplay rules, meaning utility mods such as Meteor Client are commonly used amongst the server's regulars. An anticheat is in place to prevent extreme movement hacks, but everything else is fair game.

If you are unfamiliar with Superflat survival, as many newcomers are, countless structures are generated in our Superflat world that make nearly every item in the game obtainable. The list currently includes:

Strongholds (Nearest is at -216 -1663)
Pillager outposts
Mineshafts
Ruined Portals
Trial Chambers (when we update to 1.21)
