Hello there stranger. I’m Fox, one of the two owners of Sphinx.
Underneath this message, you can read a few facts about the server and decide if it sounds like something for you. If it does, please use the Discord link below 🙂

The player base is mostly between 15 to 21.

The server is mostly active around the weekend.

There are normally around 2-6 players on worksday online, and 15 to full, around the weekend.

This isn’t a lore server, however, we encourage player lore.

If joining; you’re required to be able to use voice chats.

The server uses proximity-voice-chat in-game. (which is really fun)

We have a set list of thoroughly tested origins to avoid having anything too overpowered.

This server welcomes both; players who like pvp, and those who do not.

We do not have claims or anything similar, as other than origins, this server is vanilla.

Spawn
An amazing 500×600 spawn, which contains a dragon, docks, caves, lots of houses, multiple lands, ships, etc. Players receive speed and jump boost, and night vision when at spawn. Also, the spawn is decorated with NPCs and particles.

PVP
A large ancient gladiator themed PVP arena, contains lots of open space for players to fight.

Commands, Perks, and Cosmetic Shop
Players can spend their in-game currency to purchase permissions to advance their gameplay; as well as purchasing cosmetics like /Hat.

Quests
Players can complete several different types of tasks such as Mining, Crafting, Mob killing and more to earn rewards.

Terrain Generation
Beautiful randomly generated terrain for players to explore.

Grief Prevention
Players can claim land with a golden shovel, to protect it from griefers. Players earn claim blocks whilst they’re playing.
