Hi! You’re tired of multiplayer servers where everyone makes a base far from everyone else and the server becomes inactive after just a few weeks?

ExpandingCraft is your solution!

The concept: we started with a very small world border and gradually expand it.

For each expansion new members are recruited who can join in and build in the middle of everything that existed in previous expansions. We’re a tight knit group with community projects and shared resources!

Starting border: 65×65 (4×4 chunks)

1st expansion: 129×129 (+2 chunks all around)

2nd expansion: 289×289 (+5 chunks all around)

3rd expansion (week 3): 545×545 (+8 chunks all around)

4th expansion (week 5): 865×865 (+10 chunks all around)

5th expansion: 1185×1185 (+10 chunks all around)

6th expansion: 1505×1505 (+10 chunks all around)

7th expansion: 1825×1825 (+10 chunks all around)

8th expansion: 2145×2145 (+10 chunks all around)

9th expansion: 2465×2465 (+10 chunks all around) → this is where we are

10th expansion: 2785×2785 (+10 chunks all around) → happening this Friday evening!

etc.: expanding 10 chunks every two weeks

This is inspired by youtuber Wadzee’s series “Minecraft, but the world slowly grows”.

Details:

A vanilla survival multiplayer server with expanding world border;

Recent world started around Christmas;

European hosted server;

Handpicked whitelist;

Dynmap;

Fabric 1.19.4 (for things like proximity voice chat and whatever we agree on).

How to join:

Since we’re playing very close to each other for at least the beginning of our world: it is important that everyone is friendly and get along! As such to be invited to join you should:

Send me a private message introducing yourself: your age (18+), where you’re from, what you like to do in Minecraft and why you are interested in joining us!

If we see that you’re a friendly person who fits with everything we’ve listed before, we’ll send you an invite to join the community’s Discord server and you’ll get whitelisted on the Minecraft server after you’ve introduced yourself on Discord!

Hardlimit Anarchy

Anarchy Server with a limited world border at 50k with terrain generated in 2010.
Joinable on newer versions.

hard limit is comprised of a ~50k overworld, and a relative ~6k nether and ~6k end.

The overworld spawn area is comprised of mostly pre 2011 chunks, downloaded from an creative server called 337Studios.com
There are many builds with signs to be explored and chests with loot from pre beta 1.8 (including stacked tools and armor).
Many of the builds were completed with the help of worldedit so you may find some bedrock, diamond, gold and iron structures around the map.

Gather the blocks as they will be useful….

There are some custom crafting recipes that give you vanilla items that you may find useful on your travels.
